ROBIN

DOWNLOADS

Download the Robin drone CAD files and build your UAV right in your own workshop. Its user-friendly design enables assembly even without advanced technical experience. Simply have the structural parts cut from 2 mm or 3 mm aluminum or carbon fiber reinforced composite sheets, while non-structural elements can be easily 3D printed from ABS, ASA, or LW-PLA. Bond the components together with super glue or two-part epoxy adhesive for a robust, reliable construction.

Before purchasing the blueprint, we strongly recommend downloading and reviewing the User Guide and Construction Guide. These materials will help you determine whether the drone suits your needs, and if you have the necessary skills, tools, and workspace to successfully complete the build. Our guides are freely available. Click the link below to download!

Aft CG

The aft CG configuration is ideal for cinematic applications. When using wide-angle lenses, propellers can interfere with the camera's view. By sweeping the arms backward, propellers move further out of frame, allowing clearer shots during camera movements.

Standard CG

The standard CG position provides optimal overall lifting performance. This configuration is perfect for missions involving heavy payloads, external cargo, or extended-range flights requiring significant battery capacity.

forward cg

The forward CG position suits larger, heavier payloads mounted at the front. Loads exceeding 3 kg typically require the arms to be swept forward, ensuring proper alignment of the drone's center of pressure and maintaining stable flight.

Custom CG

Robin’s foldable arms are designed for adjustable positioning, secured by friction using either M6 screws or quick-release bicycle seat clamps. This friction-based mechanism absorbs impact energy during hard landings, effectively protecting the arms and fuselage from deformation. Additionally, the adjustable arm positions provide flexibility, enabling various payload configurations tailored to your mission requirements.

Performance

Robin offers versatile power options, too. You can house two 6S (7000 mAh) batteries inside the hull for a clean, enclosed setup, or opt for four batteries in an FPV-style arrangement, where you mount the batteries externally, freeing up space for internal cargo. With lighter payloads, this extended configuration can deliver flight times of up to 48 minutes.
